Recently, my senior dog, Nutmeg, became very ill. After spending her entire life receiving care from another vet practice, we needed a second opinion rather unexpectedly and at the last minute. This clinic treated Nutmeg as though she had been their patient her entire life. I feel like every decision we made was in my dog’s best interest. They took the time to listen to my concerns and walked me through our options with both empathy and realism. Ultimately, we received the devastating news that nutmeg had cancer and what her realistic prognosis was. Because of the care, honesty, and guidance this team provided, I was able to make the most heartbreaking decision of my life with confidence that I was doing what was best for her. I will forever be grateful that they prioritized Nutmeg’s comfort, dignity, and quality of life above everything else. They helped ensure that her final days were as comfortable and peaceful as possible, and when it came time to say goodbye, my dog and I were both treated with tenderness and respect. Thank you for treating Nutmeg with the love and dignity she deserved.

The veterinarian, Dr. Lynne, was extremely knowledgeable and spent time answering my questions and concerns. The vet tech was also thorough and hands-on. I felt comfortable putting my dog in their care. The staff was warm and welcoming.

Love this vet! Our old vet got bought by a private equity firm and everything got way more expensive and worse. Did some research to find this vet owned practice and have been very happy with them. The vet is great and knowledgeable and all the staff is very nice and helpful. The prices are much much better as well. I can't recommend them enough!!!

Dr. Converse is a true "dog whisperer," and the staff there are kind and competent. We recently relocated from out of state and needed to find a vet quickly when Chewbarka came down with diarrhea and vomiting. Our previous vet suggested we sedate him for vet visits due to his anxious and guarded behavior when he was younger. However, given his current symptoms we didn't drug him thinking it would pass right through him. Chewy barked when staff first entered the room, but Dr. Converse took his time and then got him on the table and did a full physical exam (including palpating his sore belly and looking in his mouth!), while Chewy stood calmly. We could not be happier following our first visit and we will definitely be returning there for regular ongoing care.

I have a tendency of being overly critical of people and businesses. I find things to get upset about easily. Advanced Veterinary Care has consistently cultivated a trigger-free experience for me, which I am wildly appreciative of. With respect to my dog’s quality of care, she has always been provided the exact type/amount of care she was in need of by AVC. With my prior dogs and their vets, I felt like I was being sold care more than my dog was being cared for. AVC has exceeded my expectations with the care they provide. I always feel like AVC is evaluating my bulldog that is in the room with them, not common issues with bulldogs. With prior vets, I felt like they were trying to provide bulldog care, not the care for the specific bulldog in the room was in need of. Lastly, my dog adores coming to ACV. Other dogs get hyped about going for a walk or to the park. My dork of a dog gets most excited when she knows we’re going to ACV. I don’t judge, I get it. Advanced Veterinary Care is worth getting hyped about.

My dog and I originally came in for an appointment to look at a mass on her side, which can be scary, but Dr. Jaynes and the staff were so empathetic and wonderful during the initial consult appointment. I had 0 concerns when dropping my dog off for surgery because I knew she was in good hands. They have taken such great care of my dog and have been nothing short of amazing when it came to answering my many questions pre and post surgery. We love our people at Advanced Veterinary Care of Greenwood Village! They've been our vet for our dog since she was a puppy and we love the care and compassion they've shown over the years! Most recently our dog tore her ACL and they were all very supportive and kind during the time. Our dog then tore the other side shortly have healing and we received so much love and support during that surgery, too!! Dr. Converse, thank you so much!!! I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Converse and the entire team at Advanced Veterinary Care. They understood the urgency of my dog’s condition and worked us into the schedule immediately. Not only were they able to evaluate her the same day, but they also arranged for an abdominal ultrasound that day, allowing us to begin getting answers without unnecessary delays. Their communication was excellent, and they moved quickly to coordinate additional testing and follow-up. I was also pleasantly surprised by their pricing. Given the level of expertise, advanced diagnostics, and exceptional care we received, I found their fees to be more than competitive and an excellent value.
