We stay up to date on new diagnostics and treatments through analyzing clinical trials, research articles, attending conferences and continuing education. We adapt to new evidence-based advances in veterinary medicine and integrate non-traditional therapies that have proven efficacy. Our team places a strong emphasis on preventive care for all animals, regardless of their species or age.

Dr. Converse, DVM

Owner/Medical Director

Dr. Converse is from Tulsa, Oklahoma, and earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Oklahoma State University with the top rank in his class. He received his original license from the state of Colorado, but before relocating to Denver, he joined the faculty of Harvard Medical School in Boston. While there, he completed a residency in comparative Pathology and Internal Medicine with PhD work in Genetics. He and his fiancée then moved to Colorado where he has been taking care of families in the Greenwood Village area ever since. Dr. Converse was previously the associate doctor at Greenwood Village Veterinary Clinic and then medical director at Cherry Hills Animal Hospital.

Dr. Converse is not only known for his vast knowledge of internal medicine, but also his bedside manner and attentiveness to his clients. He has a way about him when it comes to fearful or aggressive dogs and cats. He practices a “Go Slow” approach that calms the patient and builds a trusting relationship. In his free time he enjoys skiing, hiking, biking and spending time with his wife.

Dr. Jaynes is from the Chicago suburbs and earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She practiced in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota for more than 10 years before moving to Colorado. Dr. Jaynes has a special interest in soft tissue surgery, ophthalmology, and feline medicine, but getting to know pet parents and their animals is her favorite part of the job. In her spare time, Dr. Jaynes enjoys spending time with her husband and children, watching Chicago Blackhawks hockey, reading, and exploring Colorado.
